Awareness events :  Open Audience

 Duvidha

 This was the first major seminar of ONE Foundation, It was conducted on 11-February-2012 at Scientific Society Hall, Laxshmi nagar for parents of class IX students.

Attendance was 400+ and feedback of the event was 3.4 on scale of 4.

 Major parts of the seminar : 

•  Discussion on Passion & Career with experts from diverse careers (non-conventional streams) .
•  “Ghar Ghar ki Duvidha” : A to skit highlight the various ‘duvidhas’ in the minds of the parents. 
•  Panel Discussion to address various dilemmas of parents with experts.

 Career Duvidha

 The seminar was conducted on 15-September-2012 at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, Civil Lines for students & parents of class IX & X standard.

 Attendance was 800+ and feedback of the event was 3.36 on scale of 4.

 Major parts of the seminar :

•  ‘Career Parade’ to depict the careers in various eras – to set the tone for the event.
•  Panel Discussion between Experts , Parents & Students on issues pertaining to career. Queries of students & parents were answered by Experts.

Manthan events | Brainstorming Sessions

A. Principals meet

•  To obtain inputs for’ Duvidha’ event, a Principals Meet was organized at Hotel Heritage, Sadar on 10-January-2012. 
•  The meeting was attended by principals and school dignitaries of 15 leading schools of Nagpur.

B. Manthan – A Round Table for Training & Placement officers of Engineering Colleges 

• Manthan- A roundtable for Training & Placement officers of engineering colleges was organized for Engineering colleges by ONE foundation on 16-June-2012 at GloblLogic India Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur office.  
• The objective was to discuss challenges and propose solutions for betterment towards employability and placement of youth.
•  Training & placement officers of more than 15 colleges participated including VNIT
•  An outcome report with recommendations was sent to all participants as well as colleges.

C. Manthan – A Round Table for B-School Leaders 

• Manthan- A roundtable for B-School was organized by ONE Foundation supported by Maharashtra Business Management Institutions Association and Dept. of Business Management, RTMNU on 20-October-2012 at Persistent Systems Nagpur office.
•  Academicians, Industry representatives and MBA students took part in the discussion on the "Changing role of B-schools in emerging scenario”.
•  Academicians of more than 15 B-schools participated including Director of IMT.
•  An outcome report with recommendations was sent to all participants as well as colleges.

Offbeat Career | Awareness on off-beat Careers 

Radio Jockey

              RJ Rajan of Radio Mirchi gave an insight of career of a Radio Jockey on 18-March-2012.

 Fine Arts

•  An interactive awareness program on Career in Fine Arts was conducted on 11-June-2012 at Alag Angle Studio.
•  ONE Foundation conducted a unique virtual & paperless painting and photography contest-exhibition over Facebook, STAGE ONE, to promote painting and photography as career options.
•  This contest, jointly organized along with Alag Angle art academy, was the first event of its kind in Central India to be organized on a virtual platform.
•  Conducted from 11-May-2012 to 24-May-2012, the contest received over 200 entries - received from 16 cities in India and a few overseas entries as well. Over 2600 online votes were received.

 Dance beyond fitness and fun 

This event was organized by ONE Foundation and Atul Narang Dance institute (ANDI) on 23-June-2012 at Janaki hall, Bajaj Nagar on dancing for fitness, fun and Career.

Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program

•  This was the first mentoring project of ONE Foundation, started from 12-May-2012.
•  Duration of the mentoring program was 6 months.
•  Program started with 9 candidates, selected after interaction with ONE Foundation panel.
•  Topics to cover in mentoring program : Useful tools (MS Office, Photoshop, Google Drive etc.),Core Entrepreneurship aspects, Case studies.
•  Practical help in setting up own business/ventures Activities for Associates/Volunteers:

 Enrichment Sessions

 MBA HR-What Next? 

• Interactive program for MBA HR students regarding career options, employability, further education and training etc. on 8-April-2012 at GloblLogic India Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur.
•  Attended by students from 5-6 MBA colleges and professionals from some organizations.

 Lakshya – Managing your Goals 

• This awareness session was conducted on 21-July-2012 at Janaki hall, Bajaj Nagar.
•  The session was mainly for ONE Foundation member on managing oneself , one’s goals and aspirations and about the purpose of life.

 Express to Impress

 This awareness session was conducted on 18-August-2012 at Janaki hall, Bajaj Nagar.

 The session was mainly for ONE Foundation members on the art of public speaking.

•  My Story’ was narrated by Mr. Shashikant Chaudhary, Managing Director, GlobalLogic India Pvt. Ltd., in the ‘Ek Mulaqat’ on 18-March-2012.
